Procedure

• Power off the server, and remove the power cables from the server.
• Check whether the RTC battery has been installed on the mainboard.

  • If yes, go to Step 4.
  • If no, go to Step 3.

• Install an RTC battery on the mainboard. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.
  
  • If yes, no further action is required.
  • If no, go to Step 4.

• Replace the RTC battery, connect the power cables, and power on the server. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.
